A London-based judiciary has granted bail to Beatrice, 55, the spouse of a former Senate vice chairman, Ike Ekweremadu, 60. Though she was granted bail, her husband, who’s the lawmaker representing the Enugu West senatorial district, was denied bail.

Ike, who’s a lawyer and former vice chairman of the Nigerian Senate, and Beatrice, an accountant, appeared on the Outdated Bailey on Friday for a trial on bail.
